JOB POSTING - FACILITIES MANAGER

 

Gaston School District is a small semi-rural district with approximately 500 students in grades PK through 12, all on one campus.  Gaston’s close-knit community is one of its greatest assets.  Residents, students, and staff enjoy a relaxed pace of life while cherishing a strong sense of connection and shared pride in their town.  
Gaston is conveniently located just 7 miles south of Forest Grove, approximately 18 miles north of McMinnville, and just 30 to 45 minutes from Hillsboro and Beaverton. Gaston offers easy access to Portland, the coast, skiing, Oregon wine region and many other recreational opportunities.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for leading and supervising the district maintenance department.  Also oversee all building projects and contractors to ensure that all district facilities and equipment function properly, meet the needs of educational activities and programs, and remain in prime operating condition.  This position will also need to perform custodial duties as needed.
